3) Research: Director Dr. Steven Stoddard from the U.S. Army Analysis and Evaluation Center (equivalent to a GS-15)

- Paper Presentations: 118 papers presented 

- the largest number for a military-related academic conference in Korea

- Many KAIST Korean students have submitted their papers, and as shown in the attached photo (#3), some have received awards.

  * A leading authority in the field of Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) in Korea was invited to speak.

The 17th Army M&S International Academic Conference in 2024 is planned to be co-hosted by the Army Headquarters, ADD, and Daejeon City. 

Date/Location: November 12th (Tuesday) to 13th (Wednesday), 2024 / Daejeon Convention Center (DCC).
